Michael E. Knoke, CPP, currently serves as Vice Chairman on the ASIS International Standards & Guidelines Commission, and is a past president of the ASIS Professional Certification Board (PCB). Since 2006, Mr. Knoke has been Director of Investigations for a Fortune 100 Company. He manages background screenings, government security clearances, drug testing, workplace violence, and corporate investigations.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Knoke was Senior Manager of Corporate Security and Safety for Kelly Services and, before that, was Superintendent of Corporate Security for Union Electric Company. These were preceded by a career in public law enforcement where he rose to the rank of Commander of the Crime Prevention Unit in Florissant, Missouri.
In 1994, Mr. Knoke was an Executive-on-Loan to the U.S. Olympic Committee, where he developed standards for volunteers and implemented and directed security for the U.S. Olympic Festival.
As a security advisor to the St. Louis Board of Education Task Force on School Violence, Mr. Knoke lent his services on award-winning films such as Call to Action! Managing Violence in the Workplace and Staying on the Safe Side of the Street.
Michael Knoke completed his undergraduate work in Business Management at National-Louis University. He is board certified in Security Management.
